Description:

Uyghur is spoken by about 7.500.000 people. Most speakers live in the Xinjiang-Uigur Autonomous Region in the northwest of the People's Republic of China. Significant Uyghur speaking communities also live in Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Mongolia and Turkey.
